Pastor Jessica D. Henson is the Senior Pastor of Deliverance Point Church. She was born in Dallas Texas, on June 28, 1975 to the loving parents Nancy Gaines and Archie Ray Drayton. She graduated from A. Maceo Smith High School in Dallas, TX in 1993. She furthered her education in College and received her Associate of Arts Science Degree. She is the loving wife of Co-Pastor Jimmy Henson and the proud mother of two beautiful children, Jahleea Boyd and Chloe Boyd.

It had been a long journey of knowing God when she was called to the ministry to preach the gospel in 1996; under the tutelage of her Spiritual Father, The late Bishop Cardell D. Booker, Sr. Whom founded  God’s Tabernacle of Deliverance, also known worldwide as GTOD.  She was shaped into what she is today under his care and guidance. Her hands have worked in many aspects of ministry such as praise dance, choir, media/sound, CDB Ministries, Children’s Church School of GTOD and much more. In 2011, she was elevated and ordained the 1st Assistant Pastor of GTOD. In 2014 an unforseen thing happened. Bishop Cardell D. Booker, Sr. transitioned to eternal glory. Before his final farewell,  he passed the mantle to her. She was ordained and elevated to Pastor Jessica D. Henson; Senior Pastor of God’s Tabernacle of Deliverance.

In 2016, after much prayer and supplication God made a change and shift in the plan.

The ministry is now Deliverance Point Church and this is only the beginning. DPC has flourished and has begun its journey into becoming a pillar in the community through outreach, youth, and ministry. Pastor Henson is also the founder of “I Love H. E. R” (Hurting, Emotional, Recovering), a ministry dedicated to the WHOLENESS of a woman. She is a true vessel of God. Willingly ready to be used by him with one thing in mind...GIVING HIM GLORY. She empties herself in order to be filled by God.  Everything he instills in her, she pours out on the Body of Christ. For His glory she will definitely do anything.
